Alocat was born in 2017 as a result of sharing and unification certain criteria of professionals dedicated to search and management of locations for any kind of audiovisual productions located in Catalonia.

The intention is to generate a work process with guarantees of transparency and good practices, where official institutions, owners of private locations and producers enjoy an efficient and quality service.


Location Scouting

Starting from the briefing or the reference that the client gives and based on their experience and contacts, the locator will provide different options for the production, always in the form of photographs taken expressly for the work in progress.

Some professionals are specialized in working with the contribution of archive images, this practice in certain cases helps to solve the work by shortening the deadlines.

Location Management

Audiovisual productions involve filming or photography in spaces that have not been designed for such purposes. This undoubtedly requires obtaining all kinds of official authorizations, making agreements with private owners and control all the factors to achieve success in the chosen location.
